Dr. Petrigliano focuses on shoulder replacements and arthroscopy as well as treatment of knee injuries. He completed his fellowship in sports and shoulder surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery where he was the assistant team physician for the New Jersey Nets and Iona College athletic teams. He also served as a medical consultant for the United States Tennis Association and the U.S. Open. Currently, he is the assistant team physician for the UCLA athletic department and head team physician for UCLA baseball, men’s soccer, and women’s gymnastics. Dr. Petrigliano has authored 85 peer-reviewed research articles. His laboratory focuses on developing stem cell and biologic treatments for rotator cuff and knee ligament injuries.
